Concept and Business Foundation

Synchora is an innovative platform designed to transform the choreography space by providing tools and resources for dancers, choreographers, and creative teams. The startup emerged from a deep understanding of industry pain points and the untapped potential in digital collaboration for modern dance professionals.

As the business & marketing strategist, I was tasked with translating vision into market reality—defining who our customers were, how we'd reach them, and what value proposition would resonate most deeply in an industry hungry for innovation.

Go-to-Market Strategy and Early Adopter Focus

I spearheaded the go-to-market strategy, conducting market research and demographic analysis to identify early adopter segments within the choreography space. This research shaped our positioning, messaging, and channel prioritization, allowing us to focus resources on high-conviction customer segments most likely to drive growth and network effects.

Pricing Strategy, Financial Planning, and Capitalization

A cornerstone of my work involved architecting the pricing and packaging strategy. Rather than simply maximizing short-term revenue, I designed a tiered model that encouraged long-term product adoption, improved customer retention, and created predictable cash flow—all critical metrics for startup sustainability and investor confidence.



I also developed and maintained capitalization tables, modeled financial projections, and provided strategic input on fund allocation and burn rate. These activities ensured we understood our financial runway, made informed hiring and development decisions, and were prepared for future funding rounds.

Pitch Competition and Industry Recognition

Synchora was showcased at a pitch competition featuring industry experts, mentors, and established entrepreneurs. I presented our go-to-market strategy, financial model, and vision to this discerning panel. The result: runner-up for Best Overall Startup—a recognition that validated our strategic approach, product-market fit potential, and execution capability.



This achievement was not just a trophy; it was proof of concept that our business thinking was sound, our narrative was compelling, and our team had the strategic clarity to scale. It strengthened our credibility with future investors, advisors, and potential partners, positioning Synchora as a serious contender in the choreography technology space.

Grant Funding and Strategic Investment

I directly oversaw successful applications for grant-based funding, securing a $3,000 award that validated our business concept and provided crucial runway. Beyond the capital itself, this grant represented external validation—proof that our vision resonated with industry stakeholders and funding bodies.



I then strategically helped advise on the allocation of this funding to high-impact areas: enhancing product features and development, accelerating go-to-market execution. Every dollar was invested with growth and market positioning in mind.
